I gave blood today...
and I didn't freak out! I have never donated blood before today because something about it really scared me, but it wasn't bad at all. I felt good about doing it after I left the blood donation center and I will definitely do it again. It was totally worth it and I don't feel weak or tired at all! If you live in the Houston area visit www.giveblood.org . It was a very informative website and the donation location in Pearland was really nice.

I guess I'll comment regarding the lady of the house and her fear of getting poked by needles....she doesn't like that at ALL -- so by her going to give blood and face her fears, she really took me by surprise (I know she doesn't need the public applause -- but she gave for a good family friend in need and I feel she committed for something good). Yeah Jackie!! you ROCK! (and yes, you are beautiful too) does this kissing up keep me in the will?..
You'll have to give SS#'s and other important info to be in our direct beneficiary distributions...sucking up does not improve chances of higher payouts =)
