Hello everyone! I just wanted to keep our far away friends informed about what is going on with Los Shephitos. Hurricane Ike will be coming right over our house and I think we are ready. Here is a picture of our house. Kirk has done an amazing job boarding all of the window and even helping neighbors. Later we will board up the doors and "hunker down" for the night. We will move Grant downstairs to sleep with us tonight. It should be pretty exciting...in a scary way.
We are prepared. He have food, water, gasoline, propane, tarps, candles, and basically whatever we need. I will post again later.

Be safe! If you need somewhere to go for any reason, you can always come up to Dallas and stay with us. Your house is beautiful by the way!
It's too bad Tom couldn't be there to help Kirk put up the boards! We still have ours up!
If anything, maybe you'll get some damage to the upstairs fan that Tom broke?!? :) Hello homeowners insurance!
